Music Ministry is an important and vital part of our church
and our Sunday morning services. An exciting year is
ahead for First United Methodist Church of Fredonia, and we
invite everyone- members, visitors, non-members, college
students, and community members- to in some way be a part of
our music program.
Our new audio-visual
system is installed and is being used every Sunday to
enhance our worship services for everyone! Come see what all
the excitement is about!
Todd Weinke has been hired to run
this system, including a multi-channel soundboard and dual
projection screens.
The Chancel Choir resumed rehearsals
on Thursday nights, at 7:15 in the choir room under the
leadership of Jack Sternisha. We need and welcome
with open arms sopranos, altos, tenors, and basses.
Rehearsals end at 8:30. The Choir is planning several
exciting events for this year. A Christmas cantata,
How Great Our Joy!, will be performed on Sunday,
December 11, 2005.
On Sunday, May 7 at 3 PM, the choir will be
joining with Christ First United Methodist Church in
Jamestown for a performance of the Rutter Requiem at
the Jamestown Church, under the direction of Steve
Woods and Jack Sternisha. We welcome singers for
either of these special events, as well as our full year of
worship music.
Please join us for a season of fun, camaraderie, fellowship,
and music leadership as we share our talents with the Lord!
Listen to our choir!

Praise Team begins each Sunday morning worship
service with inspirational and contemporary praise songs.
Martha Lesch-Wragge is the director, and always welcomes new
vocalists and instrumentalists, such as guitarists and
percussionists. Please speak to Martha on any Sunday
morning if you believe this would be your niche!
